Snake!

[Big snake] Okay, here I am at the "Farmer's Fair" in Perris, California, holding a snake. I used to be afraid of snakes. Now, this isn't just any snake, it's a 120-pound, 16-foot long 8-year-old Burmese Python. I forget the snake's name. I was trying to hold it still, but it decided I wasn't very interesting and thought it would go off somewhere else.

This was on Sunday October 18, 1992, by the way. I got to pay $20 to get these pictures taken. Or was it $20 each? I forget.

[Snake!] The little darlin' was stronger than I was, so I didn't have a whole lot of success getting her (or him) to hold still, but you can tell I was trying!

Yes sir, that was one big snake! Yep. Used to be afraid of snakes. Just an irrational fear and all that. Yep. Of course, being afraid of a snake this size might not be all that crazy. Crazy? Who, me? I let 'em drape this big 120-pound snake around me, I'm not crazy. No, sir. Er ....
